Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky tacky,
Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes all the same.
There’s a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.
And the people in the houses
All went to the university,
Where they were put in boxes
And they came out all the same,
And there’s doctors and lawyers,
And business executives,
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.
And they all play on the golf course
And drink their martinis dry,
And they all have pretty children
And the children go to school,
And the children go to summer camp
And then to the university,
Where they are put in boxes
And they come out all the same.
And the boys go into business
And marry and raise a family
In boxes made of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.
There’s a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one,
And they’re all made out of ticky tacky
And they all look just the same.
(Ticky tacky or ticky-tacky is a colloquial term for “shoddy [poor quality] material, as for the construction of standardized housing”.)
Been feeling depressed lately but getting sick of taking st. john’s wort and having little effect. It hasn’t been working like it did in the past. So today I searched for a natural alternative on Google. I found something called 5-HTP that is available over the counter. 5-HTP has been studied and shown to be of benefit in the following conditions: primary fibromyalgia syndrome, depression, anxiety, binge eating associated with obesity, and insomnia. Worth a shot I guess so I start taking this today. Anything that can help with depression and appetite (in one pill) may be just what I need.
H1N1 Vaccine Patent Filed (2007) Long Before the Swine Flue Virus Was Spread.
Start off from here http://portal.uspto.gov/external/portal/pair and when you get to the search page make sure “application number” is checked off and in the search field put in the application number of: 60/966,724
When it opens the page click on the tab “Image File Wrapper” then select “Specifications” and go to page “13″ of the specifications. Here you will see the virus references to the viruses as noted above and it did so on “08/28/07″ long before the virus was promoted as a “New and Deadly Strain” morphed out of a pig farm in Mexico.
This morning the sun was a deep red coming out from behind the trees while I stood outside waiting for my dog to “do its business”. A truck distracted both of us while it headed into the woods behind my house. Looks like it was recently purchased because of the temporary sticker in the back window. A boy and a girl having fun with their new 4×4. The thing is, they didn’t even make it through the entrance before they got stuck. I laughed inside. So many people make there way back behind the woods to party, drink, do drugs, whatever. I’ve even felt compelled to call the cops on several occasions but I know that once I do, I will officially become the grumpy old man of the neighborhood. Sadly, it only took about 5 minutes for someone to come with their ginormous truck and pull them out. Maybe rednecks can hear the distress signals of their brethren just like wasps call for backup when attacked. If they had a “bat signal” would it be the outline of a shotgun, a carburetor, or a beer bottle? … or maybe they just know where everyone is at all times because they’re all related.
Mejin and I got married last year on September 6th. To celebrate our anniversary, and to mark the occasion of becoming an official “family” Mejin and I are giving a new puppy a home today. We first started looking about a week ago. While browsing a pet store in the area we fell in love with a cute Fo-Tzu puppy (Toy Fox Terrier and Shih Tzu mix). We’re not sure what to name her yet but we should have it figured out in a couple of days.

and it’s happening
never planned on this
you got something i need
kind of dangerous
and i’m losing control
i’m not used to this
what you want from me?
i’m not used to this
can’t seem to shut it off
this thing i’ve begun
and it’s hard to tell – just
where it’s coming from
and it’s hard to see
what i’m capable of
and it’s hard to believe – just
what i’ve become
hey
can we stop?
me, i’m not
i can swallow it down
keep it all inside
i define myself
by how well i hide
feel it coming apart
well at least i tried
i can win this war
by knowing not to fight
if i take it all back
some way somehow
if i knew back then
what i know right now
hey
can we stop?
me, i’m not

So I’ve been back on the diet since the 4th of July and it’s been 8 days since I”ve been off caffeine.
I have a lot more energy lately which brings me up to everyone else’s level since my energy is typically low.
Caffeine cravings are pretty much gone at this point. Have been drinking nothing but water and eating right. Working out every day.
Yesterday’s headache was pretty bad. Worse than today… but it still lingers. I am going through another attempt at quitting caffeine again. I am constantly struggling with getting hooked on it and not being able to stop. I’m not sure how long this attempt at quitting will last but I hope that it lasts forever. I am tired all of the time. Mostly depressed. I assume this will last a few more days.
It’s not like I’m doing drugs or drinking, it’s just caffeine. Though, I would say the base addictive response is similar and if you are a person with compulsive behavior then it can lead to trouble.
Here’s something that I read today…
“Caffeine is a naturally occurring molecule that can be found in over sixty different plants. The caffeine acts as a natural pesticide, and protects the plants by paralyzing or killing insects that attempt to feed on the plant. The most widely used caffeine containing plants are coffee, tea. The caffeine molecule is classified as an alkaloid, meaning that it is a nitrogen-based compound that is extracted from plants.”
