I can’t be the only person that remembers the “good ol’ days” when you could pay a person for goods or services and get those goods or services with a little bit of “peace of mind”. It seems like “nowa days” you pay for something, then worry about whether or not the job will be done right or if the item was made well. Why do I have to worry about whether or not someone else is capable of doing their job? Even going through a drive through I can expect that my order was messed up somehow. It’s pretty simple. I order a burger, it shows on the screen, you make it, then give it to me. I’m tired of buying things and saving the box because it will most likely break before 30 days. Pretty soon people will pay for goods and services and the employee on the other side of the counter will just stand there.
Today I bought three diet cokes and downed them as quick as I could. I am now testing to see what the side effects will be. So far after about two hours I now have the bubble guts, a few burps, a sneeze, and my eye just twitched.
Evian spelled backwards is Naive. Which is exactly what I was this morning when I bought a bottle. Usually I go for Aquafina water but today I thought that I would give it a try and see why people still choose Evian over all the others. I didn’t think a company would intentionally try to capture the taste of tap water in a bottle but the folks at EvianCO have done it successfully. Their intent is obvious when you look at the Minerals added on the label…
Calcium, Magnesium, Silica, Bicarbonates, Sufates, Chlorides, and Nitrates.
Mmmmm… disolved solids.
I can’t believe that Election Day is tomorrow! I will be very disgruntled if Obama doesn’t win. Coming from someone who has a fairly basic understanding of how each candidate plans to run their terms… and their history, I don’t understand why anyone would consider McCain. I hate the fact that middle america gets to decide our fate. Not only the fate of America but the fate of the world. Middle America lost my trust four years ago.
I may leave the country tomorrow.
Here’s a breakdown of the 2004 election comparing voting preference to the state’s average IQ…
