Someone made their own trailer of a possible ThunderCats movie. It’s so well done and cheesy I can’t help but laugh.
I undestand the basic economics of wheat being the cheapest food to produce… but…
I just hate the fact that we live in a society where being thin costs more money than being fat!
For example, I can go to the store right now and buy 10 bags of Top Ramen noodles for $1.00.
Hamburger Helper, Macaroni, and Cereal are all examples of things that are really cheap but bad for you.
If you want fresh fruit and vegetables, you’ll have to pay more.
Don’t want any chemicals on your fruit and vegetables? You’ll have to pay more.
Imagine a guy across the store buys an organic apple for $1.69 while I buy a bag of Top Ramen for $0.10.
I will probably get fatter and he will probably stay thin.
Where do you draw the line? Should I take out a loan to buy food and pay it back when I’m working in my 60s?
The upside is that money can in fact buy happiness, simply by spending more money on quality food. Eating better will allow you to live a longer life and not die of diseases like heart disease and diabetes. This can save you a lot of money in medical bills down the road.
Living a longer life may make you happy… but if that doesn’t work you can always pay to go to disneyland and buy yourself an elephant ear.
In this past week I have discovered the following things…
Apple juice hurts my stomach really bad. Even with food.
Scoffers make me leery.
Don’t trust anything when advertised as “Due to… …you have to act now!”.
Hanging Christmas lights is fun.
I am getting tired of “Cowboy Up” stickers. It’s time for them to go. Seriously.
UPS charges $60 dollars to box and ship an item that costs $50.
